About
My name is EMMA ROSE SCHLAGEL
With a BA in Recreation Management and Leadership from Western Washington University I am dedicated to facilitating meaningful events that build communities and foster connection.
I prioritize what I refer to as campfire moments—the unique instances that ignite connection, healing and adventure.
I believe that some of our most impactful experiences take place beyond walls out in open spaces where we learn not just about ourselves, but the greater interconnected world of nature beyond the individual. I have traveled to 13 countries and lived in Utah, Washington and now Oregon for the past few years. Everywhere I go I make it a point to learn about the plants and animals there. In paying attention to how they respond to the climate I learn how to respond to change. I am deeply passionate about the ways in which time in vast landscapes augments our learning and enables us to see our own lives with greater perspective. I believe that connecting people to the land and to each other is one of the most important and rewarding things one can do with their life.
